One of Life's Joys

Tonight, while I was feeding Will his evening bottle, he did something very sweet that brought back to me a warm realization of how much I love my baby boy. As he was sitting on my lap, eating happily, he lifted his arm back behind his head to my hair. His nimble little hand gently and carefully twined strands of hair around and around his fingers and stroked my hair so sweetly. Perhaps playing with my hair was soothing and reassuring for him; for me, it was an experience that helped me realize even more deeply how very much I love and cherish my son.
